Genesis not working good everytime (stops video)(not found good source)

Hello,

I have seen that GoTv and GoMovies isn't updated annymore. The 2 addons not updates new episodes or movies. So I have installed the Genesis addon. But with this addon not everything works well all the time. Do I need to change settings?? If I search a movie or serie and start sometimes I reseave the message "stream not available". If I watch a movie or serie, sometimes the video stops playing and need to click on play again. This problems I never had with GoTv and GoMovies, is there some settings I need to change that everything works well or is this a problem of Genesis??

Can annyone gif me tips :)

I use Genesis a fair amount right now (I'm a latecomer to the Arrow TV series). As with all things free, links die and code isn't always updated by the author very quickly. Can you give me a couple of PRECISE examples, and I'll check them on my device. If they don't work over here either, we know there is not much that can be done. If they do work on my device, we'll compare configurations.
An example of what I need:
XBMC>Videos>Add-ons>Genesis>TV Shows>Search>Arrow>1st Arrow entry>Season 1>Episode 18>1st Entry - VKBOX VK HD
if you follow that as a template, list a few that don't work for you, please.
Just as a quick aside, in case you've not noticed, some of the file hosting companies (180upload, movreel, billionuploads) remove videos a lot more quickly than others. I'm assuming their DMCA compliance departments are quicker. If you start to notice a pattern (entirely made up example: 180upload is great for TV series from a couple of years ago, billionuploads remove recent films very quickly), it can help with selecting sources for other TV series or films, as you can guess which ones aren't worth checking first.

If I search as example for Under The Dome, season 2 and want to watch a episode I click on a episode and he go's loading. After the sourge found I click on it and then the message "stream not available" shows up. If I click 2 or 3 times on the same sourge then it works and the movie or serie begins. But then not always the movie or serie plays right. After a couple of minutes the picture serie/movie stops and I need to click on play again. Sometimes one time and sometimes 4 or 5 times repeatly.

So I think the sourge are fine but the addon is sometimes little bit of on-stable. Checkt the internet connection en speed en all is fine. Also not only by Under The Dome, also by The Walking Dead or a diffrent serie/movie, The Under The Dome was a example.

After the update of the addon this week all is fine now.... I also have enable auto play so the addon starts the best stream automatic now

Mine is doing the same thing have you figured out how to fix the problem?

Hi, like SilentlyScreaming said in the thread above, this can be down to the server, or even the Author removing it altogether.
If you want try this it might work as it also could be an error in Add-on. Go to Program's click on it, then Program Add-ons, now look for Addon Installer, click on this, now go to Video Add-ons. Now scroll through the pages until you find Genesis, click and install it this should over write the one you have installed. So if there is any errors it might sort it.
If this doesn't work you could try un- installing and then re-installing but its propabley the Hosting site or server that's the problem not your box. Good luck Dave

Same issue here exactly. Streaming will stop several times during a movie. Have not found a common denominator in the host sites.

Original Thread is from 2015. Since then Genesis has been a dead addon for months. People have moved on to salts, velocity, exodus etc some time ago. Check the seo-Michael web site for the best current movie Addons.
