No, the 3D launcher is only a different graphical approach to presenting links to your installed applications. You can use that one, the standard Android default launcher, or install any from Google's Play Store, it won't effect XBMC or any of the other actual Android applications at all.

Great stuff and many thanks for the swift reply. I was only wondering as most of the links come up saying loading, the programme does not stream and ends up going back to the menu screen. I guess it will just be a case of searching the entire menu and setting up favourites. But again many thanks for your speedy response kind regards

1) Make sure you've run the DroidBOX Wizard. See the How To Use The DroidBOX Wizard Add-On in XBMC thread for details.

2) Some add-ons have their lists of available streams updated more than others. Many of the add-ons in XBMC offer similar content, so it is a question of discovering which of them are the best to try first, for the sort of video/audio enterntianment you prefer.

3) Good luck :)

Yes it's the iMX6. Yes it's the launchers home screen. Xbmc works just fine and I can get into the settings. Done a reset but it didn't seem to do anything at all

What sort of reset did you try?
Can you e-mail us please ( [email protected] ), with the details mentioned here - http://droidboxforums.com/threads/what-to-include-if-you-need-to-e-mail-us.364/ , including a link to this thread - http://www.droidboxforums.com/posts/1781 . If you have already tried a factory reset, we can try reflashing the firmware. If not, we can provide the details for performing a factory reset. If you prefer, we can attempt a reconfiguration at our office, just let us know in your e-mail.

Hi I emailed you and have heard no reply. Factory reset isn't working. What would you recommend?

Is it just Showbox? Can you try the following please?

Open the list of all Android applications installed>Apps>scroll down to Showbox and click it>Clear data
Try and run the program again.

We try to respond to e-mails and forum posts as fast as possible. We open normal office hours Monday - Friday. We aim to respond within 24 hours, and 97% of the time it is a lot less than that.
