Hi I have a Q7 Droidbox but I am not very impressed with this box, I originally got it new from eBay and when I tried to use it the video playback was quite poor as in stuttery and Xbmc playback was even worse along with lip sync constantly changing even after adjusting. I sent it back to you and another unit arrived with a different Xbmc on it. This seemed better in Xbmc but it's still lagging when playing video.
I have purchased a mx3 as another TV required it and it runs great, video is so good it's like a DVD. I don't understand why the Q7 is so poor, it's not the Xbmc as even video playback on the cartoonhd app is lagging so it must be the firmware, is there am updated flash available?

Yes we do have two firmwares available for the Q7. There are two versions of the Q7, with different WiFi chips in them, the firmware you need will have working WiFi, the other firmware will work apart from WiFi.
Whether one of these firmwares is already installed on your device or not, I don't know. Send me a PM (conversation) with your order details, see this thread - What To Include If You Need To e-mail Us... - for the info required, and I'll reply with the URLs and the procedure for flashing a firmware to your device.

Maybe this is why my Q7 Box will not work with wifi since I got it a few weeks ago? Please can you also send me details about how to update firmware for my box also, thanks.

@alang , please see my last couple of replies to your posts on this forum... you need to check your Conversation/PM inbox here, I sent you the details for flashing the firmare on Oct 11th and reminded you about it on Wednesday. Top right of this tab, inbetween alang and alerts, there is an inbox link. If you've not yet looked at my messages, the Inbox will have a little red 1 or 2 next to it. Click on it and then open the message from me.

Hi please I just bought a q7 when I plug it in it just shows android man laying down with a red sign I in his stomach please tell me what can I do to update this box and it come with a pour HD mini please email me on how to fix this box

Sorry to hear the Q7 isn't booting properly. They're tested at the factory and also in our office, was the cardboard box OK physically when it arrived?
Are there any USB devices or memory cards inserted in the Q7? If so, could you unplug them temporarily and try to boot up again.
If that doesn't apply, can you try a factory reset please? Follow the steps here - https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/how-to-access-your-droidboxs-recovery-menu/ , and when the recovery menu appears, select Wipe data/factory reset. Confirm you're certain, allow the process to complete, then reboot. Go through any set up screens presented, and once you're at the Android launcher's homescreen, please wait 20 minutes before clicking anything or rebooting.
