Could someone please respond to this as I've had no response my email. I have tried the box again tonight and it is getting no further than saying boot. Bearing in mind how new the box is and the fact I have a 12 month warranty I would like a replacement box. Once this is received I will send the faulty one back to you. I am conscious that I will be without a box for some time unless this is resolved quickly and yo my satisfaction. I have had issues with the box since day 1 (as you an see by the various emails I have sent in over the past few weeks) and I need this sorting.

I have issues since the start. Power lead faulty, sent a replacement which was the wrong one, remote not working, crashing, playback poor and intermittent (nothing to do with my connection) and now this. Spent close to £80 and despite all of the fixes I can do myself nothing has worked so clearly the box is faulty


Good evening.

Having major issues with my m6. Intermittently manages to boot up to the launcher screen. Once I am on this screen I can't open xbmc or any apps for that matter. Tried to reset via the settings as shown on the forum but still not working. Tried using the xbmc helper / tool and one of these apps shows an error message on one lets me click restore but this doesn't solve anything.

Any other ideas other than getting a replacement?

Meanwhile, can you try the factory reset your device?
Switch off the device. Using the toothpick Press and hold the reset button on the right side of the device. While holding the the reset button press power ON button. After 5 sec release the reset button. Then you should be brought with the recovery menu. Then follow the instructions from the video 1:10

Recovery menu is not being accessed using the above method. A9 logo shows twice then it goes to Droidbox logo then to boot up screen (with the X) then sometimes to the android launcher screen and sometimes stays on the boot up screen

And now to top it all off on the very rare occasion I manage to get past boot up and onto xbmc my video playback is confined to about a third of the screen (window view) and I am unable to change this because the display mode is greyed out. Still no responses to be emails at all. Losing confidence in the customer service of this company

You need to inform our Engineers again. You can contact them using this email address-- [email protected]

They will try to assist and guide you on what you needed to do next.

Don't forget to incude in your email your Order ID no. , model of the device you're using, brief but detailed description of the issues you're having with your device and what procedures you have already undertaken.

I think your device now needs a Firmware reflash! :rolleyes:

Still no reply. Poor service. Box is booting up and I've sorted the screen issue by changing the setting in android settings to 720. Can't watch anything unless the whole movie or show is downloaded. Need this fixed. Nothing to do with my connection. Getting consistently over 10mbps. Losing faith

If the video gets smaller like that, try pressing a backslash character on a USB or remote's keyboard (see http://kodi.wiki/view/Keyboard_controls ). Which address are you sending from? I've checked Amazon messages, and we've not had it via there since end of November, and the e-mail address with me.com at the end from a day earlier. Send me a PM with the address you've used, and I'll search through our system and try to find out why you didn't get a reply. The office itself isn't open at weekends, and between Christmas and New Year, the staff levels have been lower. Hopefully we can sort this properly for you ASAP.

Still no joy. Can't even access the recovery menu at all. Could this be a second hand model as it has not worked since day 1 as it should. I have followed every instruction given and am still left with a faulty box. Can I please have a replacement or my money back

i have the same problem.. how is this fixed ? ive tried the above methods but still stuck on boot logo. i have a smart tv box m6

I gave it to a guy who knows what he's doing and he said that the box is a clone and he can't find firmware for it. Where can I get the firmware? Thanks for the reply. I never got am email notification so I've only just seem this.

I have this issue too since september mine worked fine for 9 months before that... could this be a update issue ?
