Iphone/ipad airplay plays sound only

Hi newbie here, my airplay on both ipad and iphone devices will only play sound, the mirroring doesn't seem to work! Can anyone help

Hi there,
are you using airplay app or you trying to ariplay in XBMC?
Try following video on how to enable Airplay in XBMC

On the app it just plays sound and no video, in xbmc I can get a video to play briefly for 1-2 seconds before it freezes but the sound continues to play

Can you check which version of XBMC you're using (System>System Info) , and also the options under System>Services>AirPlay
