Was previously working fine. But now whenever I push the power switch it remains red. Tried to start in recovery mode but had no luck there. Would be grateful for some help please

Is it definitely a Q7? See https://droidbox.co.uk/choose-your-droidbox.html for some pictures of our devices, and if you have an X7 with a sticker that says Q7 on the bottom, that is a different code from the factory.

Actually it does appear that it is an X7 with a Q7 label on it. It was purchased from droidsticks whose customer service is ridiculously bad. Would you still be able to help me
Sounds like a hardware fault with either the power supply (possible, if the voltage had fallen or it could no longer provide the current needed, booting up wouldn't occur) or the X7 itself. If you've tried a factory reset already then we'd probably be looking at it in the office if it were our device. Have you tried their Twitter account to get some attention?
