Skype on Q7

Hello everybody,

I've just purchased the Q7 tv box and for the past couple of days I have been trying to make a descent video call on Skype with my external usb camera Logitech C270.
I have succeeded in making Skype work but the video quality is very bad and I cannot make any changes to it. I' ve tried several camera apps with which I can start the camera and enhance the video quality but I haven't yet found a way to transfer these settings on Skype.

Can someone please help me with this matter?

Is Skype up to date? If you've opened the Play Store, either headed to the Apps Installed section or searched for Skype, is there an Update button there, or just Open/Uninstall?
If Skype is updated, then you'll need to give Microsoft a big poke and ask them to further develop their Android app. I don't remember seeing an option in Android's Skype for tweaking settings related to the webcam.
