If you temporarily plug in a USB keyboard, you can speed up the disabling of a lot of add-ons individually
Get to the list of add-ons then highlight the first you want to disable...
1st add-on: C, Enter, Down twice, Enter, Escape
Further add-ons: C,Enter,Enter,Escape
Another approach would be to copy the add-ons directories (navigate to //Android/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/files/.xbmc/addons/ , though org.xbmc.xbmc could have a different name) that you want to disable to a different location. This is the same as uninstalling them really, but you'd be able to reinstall them by simply copying the directories back to the original path.
One other thing to consider (unless you're a live-in landlord at the apartment) would be sharing the X7's filesystem over the network with Samba (see the Samba Filesharing For Android app in this thread -
Local Network-Based Apps ). You could then presumably open up some ports in your modem/router to forward on external requests (from your PC on the internet) to the X7 (best to give it a static IP address on the apartment's network if so). Add in a dynamic IP address service like noip.com and your tenants wouldn't even have to check what their external IP address is at the time.
Or check out AirDroid (see the same thread), even with their free account you get a certain amount of over the internet access to your nominated Android device from a PC's web browser.
Anyway, a couple of ideas that might enable you to reconfigure your DroidBOX device remotely, without having to visit the apartment necessarily.
