I spend a lot of time in setting up my Ivue guide, which is great (T8 with wookie, Ivue with source UK/USA channels). I arranged all channels alphabetically, I linked most of the channels with a HD stream, and so on. Is there a way to backup my channel list, so that, in case I have to clear my settings in the future, I won't lose it and have to reorder it again ? Can someone gives me advice how to do this.

A full backup of Kodi's data files should do the job, but if you wanted to keep the size down, open the ES File Explorer application and expand the LOCAL menu. Click on the Home link. Expand the TOOLS menu below that now and turn on Show Hidden Files. Now navigate to (click on each folder name listed:) Android/Data/org.xbmc.kodi (com.semperpax.spmc for DBMC/SPMC) /files/.kodi/userdata .
From that location, I'd backup the database folder (to a USB device or memory card) and then click on the addon_data folder. I think it is the script.tvguidetecbox folder you'll now find that needs to be backed up.
To double check it works, you could install iVue in Kodi on a phone/tablet/PC/Mac , NOT configure it, close Kodi down. Then "restore" the backup you made above, and see if the set up is transferred OK. If it does, you should be reasonably confident that your backup is functioning and will work on your DroidBOX (without having to actually wipe your DroidBOX's Kodi install first!).

Tnx very much for your answer. I will try this. In the meantime I've already found the needed files on ES. To be quite sure : so I need to backup 2 items, namely the complete database folder AND the script.tvguidetecbox which is in the addon-date folder. When I then restore the backup, I have to restore these 2 items, right. Before restoring, do I have to delete the old files first or will they be overwritten ?

Like you wrote, I tried it first on myPC, and the result is great. It worked, the whole guide is restored. Did not try yet on my T8, but that should be no problem. Thank you so much.
