I have a t8 s plus with the Droid box WiFi keyboard and I can't get iplayer to scroll either left/right or up/down.
Arrow keys won't do it, mouse pad won't do it and it means I can only see the iplayer homepage.
Any ideas as to how to map keyboard to iplayer functions?

Hi, You should be able to use the mouse pad on your keyboard, try double tapping on it then scroll left/right & up/down.

No luck. The double tap is just interpreted as a selection over whatever item the mouse happens to be over.
Thanks for responding though.
Have you used the WiFi keyboard with the iPlayer app?

This thread refers to a similar issue with the Netflix app. In one of the posts, silently screaming refers to the iplayer app having a similar problem. It seems the coders of iplayer, Netflix and possibly other apps have not catered for scrolling using standard android box remotes or the Rii i8 type wireless keyboards.

I can confirm that the vip remote works ok.

A partial solution is proposed towards the end of the thread, you could try that.

You could try the Kodi addon version of iplayer and see if that performs differently?
