I can't connect to the Internet in my droidbox everything was fine until a couple of months ago and the wifi just wouldn't locate (any) network so I used an ethernet cable.. Now that's not working either.. I've reset the box and wifi router and still nothing Any advice would be much appreciated.

I know it is an obvious question, but I can't see the answer in your post. Do other devices connect to the router ok, either by Ethernet, wifi or both?

If you have a phone, can you see if you can use the phone as a wifi hot spot? (Trying to establish here if the router is the problem).

Well the router is pretty new it's a sky q one and the issue I'm having coincides from when it was set up so I'm guessing it has something to do with it. It's fine for wifi everything is connected OK. I've just tried to use the ethernet cable on the ps4 and it's not recognising that either. I must have a dodgy cable or the sky router needs a higher spec cable? The droidbox Worked with a wired connection before this new router was put in. But I've had the problem of not recognising the wifi networks for a few months now. I've tried the wifi hotspot thing and it didn't pick that up either

Make sure Sky shield is turned off.

Yep made sure it was off when it was installed. They had kept the settings the same anyway

If you've got the settings stored or the device automatically reconfigures itself, it can be worth factory resetting the modem, as well as the DroidBOX itself.
for the DroidBOX, check with Sky's forums/online support for their factory reset process.

Hi thanks..I've tried this several times now and still no joy..just seems like wifi not working on the box. I switch it on and it says scanning but nothing ever pops into the available networks box. Has anyone got anything else I can try?

Sorry for the delay in responding..yep I've reset the router and the box several times now..not sure it is a router based problem because it wouldn't pick up any wifi networks on the old router either. When I do reset the droidbox it doesn't take me into an initial set up screen, eg should it do? (I can't remember what happens on first install)! Hopefully I'm just missing something simple..thanks for your help and patience so far

Can you be with the device and pop across to our main website and start a live text chat with us please? We're open to new chats until 5.30pm Monday - Friday. If you have an SD memory card, I'd like to see if manually reflashing the device helps.
