In which case, try a factory reset. It's possible some element of the update has not taken and the reset may force it to.

You dont need it to boot up to do a factory reset using the "toothpick" method. If you go to the droidbox how to page (from the main web site) you will find factory reset guides
I suspect the imxqpro will use the same method as the t8x series machines.

Exactly the same problem happened to myself when i did the update on my mxq v2. this week.Looping continuous optimising apps.Power cable out insert cocktail stick in av output at the back feel the click and cable back in and power up .Release the cocktail stick you should now be showing recovery boot screen do a factory reset and it should sort it out for you.

We advise a factory reset/wipe of the data when installing OTA updates, there should be a stage just before it reboots to install where you're asked whether you want this.
Nothing to stop customers trying without a reset, but if you come up against a problem, once your data is backed up I would always try a factory reset if the issue started/changed after the OTA.

OTA update to krypton 17 I have found is the culprit for my box freezing and restarting itself. Librelec works fine and so does DBMC but only after I wiped the KODI back to factory settings. When will a more stable OTA update be available?

I have just got a imxpro v2 and it had kodi 16.1 on it but checked for update and did ota. It rebooted fine and updated to kodi 17 but lebreelec still on kodi 16.1. Is there a way to update lebreelec to kodi 17. The box by the way is very good and I am very pleased with it.

I understand that if settings have been played with but this was a new box updated before anything was installed. I will wait until an OTA is available for lebreelec because with 16.1 installed on lebreelec I have the best of both worlds.
