I have owned a CK2 (i7)since December 2019 (bought through Amazon) but only recently noticed an issue with the DP monitor connection. If connected directly to a monitor DP port it works perfectly, however when using a passive or active DP to HDMI adapter (I want to use twin monitors through a CKL dual output HDMI KVM Switch) I get no signal. This was tested with several HDMI cables/Adapters but none work even when directly connected through the adapters to the HDMI port on the monitor. I am told in theory even if the DP output is not DP++ an active adapter should work. Am I missing something or has my CK2 got a fault? In which case would this be covered by warranty as the unit is only 7 months old

this issue appears to be a limitation of the video card built into the system. If you connect the Display port cable directly into a Display port device, the video will output with no issue.
However, we cannot provide any conclusive statement regarding the device's compatibility with KVM switches. Let's see if any other users in here who have tested and are facing same issue, so that we can come to some conclusive statement on this.

I can verify the same issue reported by Alun.

Using a DP to HDMI adapter there is no output (no KVM switch involved). However when I plug the DP directly to monitor then it works fine.

Also, taking the exact same DP to HDMI adapter setup I can plug this into my other laptop docking station and it works fine. Both running windows 10 professional.

So in my case it's fine. I will use my laptop with the adapter and use the droix with it's own connectors.

Thanks for confirming, James.
At least now we can verify that it's (unfortunately) normal behaviour for the device.
If it helps, I believe when we were performing some informal tests with the units (regarding MacOS compatibility and multi-monitor support), this adapter did work at the time: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01M6WK3KU
(Please note we cannot provide a guarantee that you will receive the same results)
