    Tried the procedure using a USB 3 male to male cable but in the USB 2 port on the box as you guide states. I got an error, numerous times. I didn't have a USB 2 male to male cable that your instructions stated but am awaiting delivery of one. I hope that will allow me to flash the new image...

    Okay thanks. It's just that I watched a video of the process and the user checked the tickboxes that write the new Mac addresses and when I load the firmware these are unchecked. So I thought I must do the same.

    Could you explain which boxes to tick in the Amlogic USB program please. There are two that seem to write a new Mac address for the box and WiFi. Do I select those and use normal erase?
