Hi all, can anyone in the know give me any tips on how to reduce the shutdown speed of Kodi. Have around 48 addons installed on build and always delete thumbnails, clear cache etc. before shutdown and the time varies from around 40s to around 1.5 minutes. Using Jarvis 16.1 and any help muchly appreciated.

If you are comfortable looking at log files, then viewing the last few entries in the most recent log may give some clues if a particular addon is delaying close down.

Also you can disbale/uninstall the addons you dont need or are are less used by you. Also change the skin to Normal Confluence and see if that improves the Shutdown timing in Kodi.

Cheers shah I only have the addons/repos I need in my build and changing the skin is not an option. Have cut the slow shutdown time by half now as I redirected from Exit in the kodi commands to Shutdown.
