Booting into Android with T8-S Plus

My box has problems booting into Android ,keeps optimizing apps and reboots and starts all over again.
If i would do factory reset what will happen tot Open Elec.
How do i install the T8-S Plus launcher and all the rest of the droidbox software.
Who can help

If you do a factory reset, everything will be set to the state the box was when you bought it, with the exception of any OTA updates you have applied. That means openelec, the launcher and the droidbox apps will still be there. What will be wiped is any android apps you've added and any kodi addons/builds you've installed.

Looking also for tutorial in the steps To take after factory reset To come To setting als pruchased the box.

Hi .. happy to see ur problem solied cause I have the same problem... did u do factory reset or what ?? And if u did factory reset is the box back again like when you bought new ?? Thanks

If you perform a factory reset your box will be the same as it was when it arrived to you.

Thanks Sean but still don't know why my box keep rebooting after switching from openelec to android? Do you have any idea

Am not sure on why its rebooting Wahed v as have never encountered that problem myself, but a restore must have sorted skynet2001 out so is worth a try. I know its a pain putting all your personal config back on but will be worth it.

It's still new box anyway so will do it ... I didn't expect many issue like this which I have never had it with Chinese box

Don't think these Chinese boxes are anywhere near as complex as either a T8s or the plus dual boot models with 2 different operating systems. A friend of mine bought a Chinese T8 box a few years ago and within a week I was flashing it for him with another firmware because it wasn't all that at all. I had bought 1 a month earlier from db with no such problems. Better the devil you know....

Can I just check the issue isn't that the device reboots when you switch between Android and OpenELEC? If so, they are two different operating systems, so the device will reboot when you switch.
If the device reboots once you're already in Android, it should not be like that, agreed. Send us an e-mail (see my signature) and we'll find out what is causing this.

Sorry again for that I just was waiting to see if I face any other issues... but how would I know that I have the latest firmware??? Thank you

Open the OTA Updates application up, it should let you know if you already have the latest update.
OK, just checked for you (found your order), you're running the latest update already, don't worry.
