Hi
Only had the box about 4 weeks, and exchanged numerous emails with droidbox, 34 I think I'm up to now. when I switch the box on the time will say 10.08 am on screen it says 1 am 1st Jan 1970. after a couple of minutes the on screen time will sync with the box but still totally wrong, I've check everything you can think of auto time zones etc. tried the clock sync from playstore as recommended on some other threads with the same problem (so it's a common problem) but it's says can't connect to ntp server, any suggestions getting nowhere with ebox, thanks

No entertainment box use to be droidsticks and is a different company to droidbox.
Have you tried to reset your router then check perent controls and security are off.
Give that a go, but I would try getting in touch with E/box again.

If they are different companies why when i search on google entertainment box , droidbox always seem to be linked with them.
anyway tried rebooting router etc, still waiting for ebox they say they're working on a OTA update to sort it so it must be a common problem, can i flash this box with droidbox firmware? if so can you send me a link, thanks neil

Just tried both entertainmentbox and entertainment box, I'm not seeing DroidBOX on the first page for either. DroidSticks reference, yes, a company with droidtvboxes in their URL, but not us.
Re ClockSync If the NTP server is not reachable, your ISP could be blocking it - has happened with Vodafone customers in Republic of Ireland before. Try a different NTP server, and definitely try contacting the company (Entertainment Box) you purchased the device from.
Finally, no our recent models' DroidBOX firmware is not available for download to install on 3rd party hardware.
