Hi,

I have returned from holiday and my daughter tells me my DroidBOX isn't working. I am officially stumped. When I turn. It on it initially shows an Openelec screen then changes to a black screen with the orange Kodi icon which has a white 'Kodi' underneath routes and orange text saying v15.2 isengard. Occasionally this screen flashes all black and then refreshes back to the orange Kodi icon screen but does not load anything.

Can anyone help please ?

Thanks

Gramac

Might be because the memory is full so it doesn't open. Now because you can't get back to android to clear data or misc file I would try and do a factory reset on your box.
Power off and at the side where the USB ports are there's a restore button. Push this in and hold, power on and keep holding until you see the recovery menu.
Now go to the factory reset and click here. This will take around 5 mins to reboot and after it starts wait another 15mins for it to install your apps and update. Now just go in to kodi and run a wizard.

Hope this helps

More recent models/firmware have a Switch or Boot to Android option when you access the Recovery menu, in case it helps clearing some space within Android, without having to factory reset.
