I have been trying to get this app to work but every time I try to connect with the T8-S Plus (192.168.0.22) from my mobile I get a message "we can't reach this page"
Anyone have any ideas on why?

Thanks

@thefunk Phone is on the same WiFi network as your T8-S Plus? If your Plus is connected with a network cable, the WiFi is part of that same network?

You're entering in http://192.168.0.22 in your phone's browser?

If you have any friendly neighbours, can you see whether DroidBOX Share works if both your T8-S Plus and phone are temporarily connected to a neighbour's WiFi?

Hi thanks for responding

@thefunk Phone is on the same WiFi network as your T8-S Plus? YES
If your Plus is connected with a network cable, the WiFi is part of that same network? WIRELESSLY CONNECTED

You're entering in http://192.168.0.22 in your phone's browser? YES

If you have any friendly neighbours, can you see whether DroidBOX Share works if both your T8-S Plus and phone are temporarily connected to a neighbour's WiFi? I DON'T REALLY WANT ALL THE HASSLE OF THAT

Just to be clear:
I have assigned a fixed network IP to the T8-S (192.168.0.22)
I can ping the T8-S over the network
When I try to connect to 0.22 from phone I get error message
If I fire up Droidshare app on phone I can see it (try to?) attach to network but then it appears to loop and I cannot access menu. If I click on the Wi-Fi symbol at the bottom of the screen it directs me to 192.168.0.8.8888 which is also unreachable

Which mobile phone do you have (make/model) and the OS version (example iOS 9, Android Lollipop etc) installed? We'll see if we can replicate the hardware and find out what is going wrong.
Also, is the app the latest version from the app store/Play Store?

@SilentlyScreaming Thanks for your continued interest.

Phone is native Nexus 5 running Android 6.0.1. As far as I know I am on the latest version on all devices and installed vis PlayStore

Hi
There are no updates available on OTA.

I tried logging into 192.168.0.22 from my windows 10 laptop. Hey presto - logged in first time. Downloaded the windows file and successfully mirrored display.

Unfortunately the phone still doesn't work. Seems to point at Android in compatibility.

Hi SilentlyScreaming,
The strangest thing just happened. I decided to just have one more go at 192.168.0.22 and ..... I connected first time and got asked if I wanted to update Droidbox Share. Next thing I know I have a functioning remote on my phone.
I have changed nothing since the last post so I cannot explain why it has suddenly started to work.
It is actually quite a neat little app and I have already had a good play around with the functions.
Hopefully the "fix" is permanent. Either way your interest and help is appreciated

If your iPhone has iOS10, screen mirroring may be broken. Worth checking in the App Store on your iPhone, and make sure DroidBOX Share client app is updated, as new version came out at weekend.
