In my iptv client I need enter url or file..following so far.. do i need to type the url into client or can i cut and paste with any app you can suggest. .. a url is not a file and cant be saved as one . Can it? so i could add it from dropbox or by usb.
Know a solution out there and i m just not finding it, and i know it will be simple.. like me

I would type the url. The reference would be a link to a web based (m3u) playlist with all the code needed to play the tv channels.
A playlist file can also be downloaded locally to your device, in which case the reference would be to a folder on your device as opposed to a web address. There is an on screen button you press to indicate whether the playlist file is local or web based.
Here's a general guide for setting up an iptv client for a web based playlist. Replace the url with your own.

You could email yourself the link from a PC. Open GMail app on your DroidBOX, open message. Long click on the URL (then adjust sliders if needed). Select copy option towards top of screen.
Return to app on your DroidBOX that needs the URL, box where it needs to be entered, long click again, select paste. NOT ALL APPS WILL ALLOW PASTING INTO TEXT ENTRY BOX.

If you happen to have a QWERTY keyboard with a Ctrl/Control button, you can also use Ctrl+A (select all), Ctrl+C (copy), Ctrl+X (cut), Ctrl+V (paste), Ctrl+Z (undo, again only in some apps).
