I kept getting that message on Exodus and Specto - Opensource needed linking. I linked it once and ive never had a problem until last night - but I ignored the message and all links played fine.

Quick additional response regarding the layout of results changing...
With the results on screen, either press the Left cursor a few times until a menu pops up down the left hand side, or if you have an easy way to move the on screen cursor, just let it linger on the far left.
List view:

Menu visible, still in List view

Big list view:

Wide:

Depending on the type of results you're looking at, you'll also see other modes available. If you see Media Info (and a number), these views often have thumbnail image, media information etc

In relation to the above pics - is there a way of changing the view and keeping it the same every time we log in to see the lists? IE I like list view but I have to go into menu on far left everytime to change it from whatever it defaults to?

Yes, there is. Editing a text file, and changing the order and contents of a numerical list. Something like 500,150,200,250 instead of 150,200,250,500 (made up numbers).
I'll update this response with accurate info in a sec.

[edit]
After some quick research, I should have included somethign else first...
Check the individual add-on(s) you use first... highlight the add-on but instead of clicking OK/Left Mouse Button, press Menu/C (on a QWERTY keyboard). Select the Add-on Settings entry. Look through the tab(s) for reference to Views.

If none shown, check the procedures mentioned across:

taken from one of those, the numbers for Confluence at least:

Movies View = 503
TV Shows View = 503
Seasons View = 500
Episodes View = 504
Actors/Directors/Cast View = 500
Default View =50

Longer list, official names I think:

List = 50
Big List = 51
ThumbnailView = 500
PosterWrapView = 501
PosterWrapView2_Fanart = 508
MediaInfo = 503
MediaInfo2 = 504
WideIconView = 505
MusicVideoInfoListView = 511
AddonInfoListView1 = 550
AddonInfoThumbView1 = 551
LiveTVView1 = 560

We used to have a thread or two on this topic in the Skins area, it may be that was on the old forum.

Wow, Thank you so much. Ill change my viewing lists tonight. Been hoping I could change them permanently as I dont care too much for different list views. So long as I can see whats on offer I am happy.
Thank you again
