I received my delivery of my DroidBOX T8-S Plus v2, remote, game pad & free chocs...

I was really shocked at the condition the package was in... Split at both ends, a big label to hold the split together, boxes crushed as well as the free chocs ;-)

When I complained and asked the driver what happened, he just shrugged and said "that is the way they packed it" and moaned about the plastic packaging bag...

I don't hold out much hope that it will work and I don't really know if I want to keep it knowing it has been knocked about and could have been damaged.

The delivery company was DPD, maybe a change of delivery company is needed?

You should certainly contact droidbox support direct to make them aware.

Every item I have received an item from db it has always arrived in pristine condition and will bet my bottom dollar that is down to dpd. They were using royal mail then

I have emailed/attached pictures, live chat but they can't confirm to me they have received them. I have sent the pictures three times now, twice via email and then as a file upload via chat. I can't understand why they won't confirm or at least email telling me they are looking into it. I had an immediate response from DPD, a bit worrying I have not had that from DroidBOX :(

I have just had another email from DroidBOX saying that they can't find my email address and to confirm it.... err it's the one I used to place my order...

I would rather have a new box, remote, gamepad instead of a known damaged one. I have not unpacked it yet - can't face it as the box is crushed as well. I'd rather send it back for a refund and get a new one...

I had two emails from different people from DroidBOX, one said don't open the package, return everything for replacement once received. The other said just to return the box to see if it could be repaired... ?? What about the possible damage to the controller and gamepad?

Anyway I have not opened it and sent the complete lot back to them.

Me too. Honestly it looked as if it had been run over. Bag split, boxes crush and the worst bit was the chocolates were crushed as well ;) (I used the discount/offer for Valentine's Day).

I worked for a lot of delivery places..when a packed is damaged meaning packing tape or holes in the box the delivery co usually writes it up as damaged at the time of pickup and tapes or up appropriately so they are not dinged for a claim..that my friend looks like it was done by the driver during his leave from co to deliver your package. No shipping co would ever release a package like that for delivery.. Call co that delivered and ask them how the package was received..

@And I agree with sblabs no one in there right mind would ever receive a package looking like that..it would of been easier and faster to get a new box out to you if you told droidbox the situation that it was damaged and they would of know first hand from delivery co that it was refused due to damage..and also a lot of times drivers take a chance in not reporting it damaged ..meaning they take a chance that customer doesn't refuse it so they are not dinged...so in not refusing it now it can be hear say ..you see what I mean now.trust me I uses to work for FedEx.. I seen all the tricks
