Hi,

Stupid question alert , I have my Droid box set up in main living room, what is the best way to send to two older TV's ie Dumb TV's in different rooms.

I was thinking I need some sort of HDMI plug in style thing like the Google one, what's the best fastest option.

Sorry if this has been posted, I did look for info.

cheers

Hi

If i understand you correctly you wan't to cast screen from DroidBOX to 2 different televisions and control them from the main unit(3 units of TVs in total)?

There are many methods for 1 additional device but it may be little tricky for more than 1 device.

It might end up being cheaper (and more flexible) to get a model each, from the budget end of the range like the iMXQpro v2, for the two older TVs. Or keep an eye out at our eBay shop for refurbished recent-ish models.
I use HDMI switches to have multiple devices plugged into one monitor, but when I tried the other way round (one device to multiple monitors), it didn't work.
Long HDMI cable runs could end up costing a bit, if you have any old phones or tablets, you could check to see if they can output HDMI video with a cheap adaptor. You could then try casting/miracast/screen sharing to them from the DroidBOX.
