OK,
Since VM have directly asked me if Im using Illegal kit - Ive been thinking ov VPNM for the first time. Not certain if Im gonna install yet as Im thinking about changing Droid name in Router.
Anyway can someone please advise me??

I am only ever in Librelec and NEVER use the android side which brings me to my question.
Has anyone used OpenVPN for Librelec? and if so is it easy to set up and use as Im thinking I can link an IP Vanish account to it??? Am I right on this?
Hope someone can help me

I use Private Internet Access and can't fault it at all. I paid for a year for about £30 I think having paid £5 per month for a few months. Speed drop is minimal from about 32Mbs to 30Mbs (still more than enough speed for my requirements) and no outage in service. There's even an Android app on Playstore and an iOS app on All Store that you can use (up to 5 devices on one account) should you ever feel the need to use the Android side.


OpenVPN works brilliantly too. When it is all set up as soon as you boot in to LibreElec it connects and you're done. No messing, no clicking, no worries. At all.

Anyone using and connecting thru openvpn at the minute? Have been getting 'error connecting to VPN, could not establish connection' since yesterday. My user details with pia are correct and can connect in android no probs. Vm is my isp, have set openvpn to defaults, removed and reinstalled to no avail...

Hi, I can connect using the same VPN and same ISP as you, with VPN Manager for OpenVPN version 4.4.1
Have you went over your 5 devices maybe that's the reason.

Im using ipvanish . Been using for over 6 months now .was easy to add I to only use libre elec side of droid box . I had no issues at all.Cheers

Thanks for replies, I now know its something my end with an error making 1st connection in openvpn on 2 libreelec devices. Its definately sounds router based and will get it sorted somehow.
