T8 Plus V2 No Audio from RCA Outputs

I just received a T8-S Plus V2 Gamers Pack which i connected to an older tv in a garage which only has RCA inputs (Yellow, Red & White). Unfortunately there is no audio coming from the unit. I have the previous model of the T8-S Plus and the sound works perfectly with the tv but nothing from the new one. I tested the new T8-S Plus V2 with HDMI on the main tv and the sound is working perfectly, just no output over RCA. Is there a setting i need to adjust.

One other thing about the VIP Plus remote that came with the unit, if i press the button to turn off the air mouse and select items using the up / down arrows then the air mouse turns itself back on again after a few seconds. I have to constantly turn it off by the button. When it turns itself on by itself it is causing a different app to open than the one i have highlighted with the up / down arrows

Regarding the VIP Plus, if you want to use keys to scroll through lists, you can also flip the control over (this disables the Air Mouse automatically), then use the cursor keys on the left, and Enter to select.

Hi Chris , many thanks for the reply. I have another VIP plus remote that works perfectly so it was just a bot strange seeing how this one behaved. One other thing i have noticed though is that when you are using it as an air mouse it sometimes just stops and you have to press the button to get the air mouse function working again. It doesn't seem to be much good in either mode. I have an older one and it works pretty much flawlessly. Once again thanks for your help it is appreciated.

Many thanks for your reply, i really appreciate it, it's not such a big deal anyway, i can just switch the boxes over and that will work fine for me. I just thought it might have been a setting i might have missed. Appreciate you taking the time out to help, thank you so much.

With regard to the RCA/phono output, might be worth swapping to the other operating system, see if LibreELEC works. If it does, make a note of the firmware version you have installed. As the phono outputs aren't officially supported, you might find a future LibreELEC update broke the functionality. Not a major issue as you could just reflash back to the working version and not update it.
