remote problem

Hi
I have just e-mailed droidbox about buying a new remote for a T8s-plus v2 I bought about2 months ago
from droidbox and this is reply I got,
Unfortunately we don't have the IR Remote listed, as it comes only with the device.
so my advice would be not buy this box as it is around £90 and if anything goes wrong with the remote
I assume you throw it away and buy anotherbox

I would be more inclined to buy one of the keypad controllers/remotes from the droidbox accessories page.
You might find it cheaper than throwing away the box and buying a new one.

@joyscroft If we get more stock, we'll have some to sell. If a remote is faulty, rather than gets broken, I expect we would find a remote from a member of staff and sort the replacement that way. Warranties will be honoured. Most have been very happy with the box.

Don't forget you can still use:

A USB dongle based remote control as Nigelar mentioned above

A USB mouse or keyboard if you ever need to

Use something like Yatse or Kore for Kodi/DBMC
