I binned Telegram - too much hassle and too many spoof messages happened after I installed.
Just my opinion

Its one of the safest ways to send instant messages, end to end encryption.

Im not saying its to blame at all - I just thought it was too much a coincidence. Thats why I dont bother. TBH its had rave revues and thats why I tried it. Just not for me.
