Hi guys,
I bought a new T8-SE and updated OTA to the latest firmware.

In Android Kodi works fine, I installed several add-ons, connected smoothly to my Synology NAS, etc... but when I boot in LibreElec I cannot download one single add-on... it simply doesn't even show the list of available add-ons!

My guess is that the problem is somewhat related to the internet connection, but I'm using exactly the same connection that it's working in Android, and all the connection parameters seem to be correct (Gateway, DNS, etc..)

Can someone give me any clues on this?

Thanks,
Miguel.

If this is via an ethernet cable, can you try temporarily via WiFi. Likewise, if until now you have been connecting via WiFi, can you you try via a network cable (ethernet) for a few minutes? Even if it means putting the TV and DroidBOX somewhere you'd not use regularly, for a temporary test, let's see if it is the same using a different connection method.

Hi,
the problem is via WiFi, I tried to connect via ethernet and it worked !
The Wifi works fine in the Android OS, exactly the same Wifi network, with exactly the same configuration parameters (DNS, gateway, etc....).
I'd like to solve this, as I don't have an ethernet connection where I want to place the Droidbox.

Thanks,
Miguel

OK, so by the sound of it you're manually specifying the network connection details, (again just as a temporary test) can we try with WiFi with DHCP and see if that changes things at all.
Please excuse the delay with this response. It might also be worth emailing DroidBOX support to see if they have a quick fix.

I already tried DHCP, that was my first option in the first place, but it doesn't work... although DCHP works when booting in Android. Then I tried manually specifying network connection details to the same addresses as all my other devices at home are configured to, changed the DNS to the google address, then tryed my internet provider DNS, etc... but nothing but the ehternet cable seems to work in LibreElec... thanks.
