I bought a new box everything seemed good. I loaded it up with a few apps and I can't get the remote to go to the top of the screen to access the menus or setting of various apps. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks JHM

On most of these remotes there is a button that toggles between a "mouse" type mode and normal clicking. See if toggling between those options makes any difference.
To be honest, most of us buy something like an air mouse (see the Droix accessories page) which provide a much better user experience than the standard remote provided with most of these boxes.

It's not on mouse mode. Putting it in mouse mode is the only way I can access the menu for the diff movie genres. I sell a lot of boxes and have never had this issue. Now same problem with both boxes It must be a Android 9 issue.
