Greetings Forum.
Could someone please help with a problem with an MXQ Pro 4k Model P281 ?
When I stream a video of say about an hour it works fine, the problem arises when I try to play another one I have No Audio ! The only way I can get it back is unplug the box wait until the capacitors drain and the do a reboot by plugging it back in. This happens all the time and drives me nuts. Is there perhaps later version software the I can install to fix it ?
Mine is Version 7.1.2 the Kernel version 3.14.29 Build P281-7.1.2-201805031532.

Many Thanks Gyrojocky (newbie)

I have not heard of this before. Can you try playing something on YouTube, search for "two hour countdown" let that play until the end and then try any other video and see if audio is working or not. This should answer if it is a problem with the app you are using or a problem with the device itself. If the audio is fine then I would suggest removing the app and updating, or try another.

Hi. Forum
O. K. the problem is not the app as the sound fails at about an hour of use regardless of the app/apps so still doing a cold reboot to fix it
but very frustrating.
Also a friend tried to download the Disney streaming app for me but it would not download, Saying it's not compatible with my system.
Is the MXQ Pro 4k something of a dud ? if so can someone recommend a different unit to buy without breaking the bank.

Many Thanks Gyrojocky
