    Sorted. There are a number of different ways to change the date and time. Found one that worked.

    Abroad at the moment and trying to use my t8s plus but error message says date is wrong. Been into settings to change it. Can change day and month but the year only goes up to 1993. Any suggestions. .. Thanks

    Thanks for that...so what you are saying is that you can watch the UK channels live on the said apps when abroad so effectively I don't need I player.

    Hi ... Any suggestions on a simple way to be able to get uk channels / bbc iplayer when abroad. Tried a few on you tube to no avail. I have a T8S plus and I cant see any apps in there to help. Thanks.
