I have a DroiX x4 that came pre installed with kodi 18.9 and android 11. I went to the playstore and it recognised I had kodi and allowed me to select ‘update’ it then went through the motions of downloading and installing but didn’t actually install any update. Hope this helps

I have tried to update kodi via the play store but it does seem to work. I am obviously doing something wrong, can anyone help?
