Hi all,

Has anybody managed to successfully watch any 3d films?

All I seem to get is two identical side by side movies. I have activated the 3d button on my TV remote and played around with tv settings but nothing seems to work.

I can watch a 2d movie and get my TV to convert to a 3d movie (not true 3d), but this is not the droid box giving 3d.

Any ideas?

Yes I've watched some, make sure your tv can do side by side conversion.
Go to system, then video and then video output and check your settings there.
At the bottom left corner make sure the setting level is set to Expert so you can see all the adjustments.
Most new tvs can do side by side and top and bottom conversions of 3D but I think you have to select it in setting on your tv. Check your tvs manual/instuctions to see if its possible.
3D is never going to be as good as blu ray 3D, but its ok
I've noticed there's not as much available now and is either 720p or even SD witch is not good at all because you lose the detail in the picture. Where before it was mostly 1080 and 5.1 sound track as well.
Hope this helps you.

One more thing, when watching a 3D movie press the ok button and in the bottom sub menu there's a movie reel icon press that. You can adjust 3D conversions there i think. Have a look.
Good luck
