Er where would I find those two bud?
Excuse the delay...
If you're using the standard DroidBOX launcher, click the Two Cogs to get to Settings. From here enter the Display menu. Next screen resolution. The very top option needs to be turned off, then scroll down (using the cursor keys, click and drag not working) to see all the resolutions available.

Dont know. I haven't got a 4k tv. Hdmi 2.0 cables support higher bandwidth. Somehow your tv does not recognise the output from your t8s plus (assuming that is the box you have). Changing cables may help. I have done some googling and some tvs do not recognise 4k output from android boxes, lg boxes in particular. Do some googling with your particular tv model and android boxes.

It might be worth asking support (qasir, 8bitdev) which 4k tvs the t8s plus (or any 4k compliant droidbox) has been tested with.
There is a possibility the amlogic firmware is not compatible and needs an update.

Can I double check the
"The very top option needs to be turned off, then scroll down (using the cursor keys, click and drag not working) to see all the resolutions available."
part? I can't access the resolutions at the bottom of the list unless I use the cursor keys to scroll down, click and drag didn't work.

Hi, I have Samsung ue55js9000 tv connect via a 4k passthrough Onkyo 626 receiver, but not with the HDMI lead that came with the box. I checked the screen resolution option yesterday and I have four 4k resolutions to choose from. I chose 4k2k 25hz and it is working fine. Anyone know of any 4k video addons, I have installed wookie.

Cheers bud think i picked 4k 2k 24hz seemed ok but not had time to watch anything yet you say you go via a passthrough on on your amp what is that I have a yamaha amp connected with fiber optic lead and 2 audio leads have been told to look in navi-x for 4k movies

Somewhere over the rainbow
There are not many 4k streams as the size of the stream. Plus you will need super fast Internet. As long as you set the box to your TV it should convert it anyway.
Also it not pure 4k as it heavily compressed.
Most new 4k TVS are HDR ready (4k blu-ray), but older ones aren't. So before you buy one ask as if it's not it's already out of date.

The onkyo allows the signal to pass through on the hdmi lead to the tv when the receiver is in standby as well as upscaling to 4k when turned on. I will try 4k2k 24hz as 25hz is jittery. Seemed ok on 30hz but not on 4k2k smtpe, whatever that is.
