Android tv box Probox2 Plus Temp?

Hi guys; do you guys know how much max temperature in F or C, should an Android tv box should be to be within safe specs?.
i just got my Probox2 Plus and with a smal 5 V fan underneath after 6 hours of operation its temp is 131F.

(For anyone outside the US and younger than my little brother, 131°F is around 55°C)


The expected/normal temperature range when under load will definitely vary according to the main and auxiliary chips, what speed they are clocked at and sometimes the OS in place.

S912 on that box, a quick random online sampling of reports show a recorded temperature range (after stress testing) of 40-80°C . One isolated report of low 90s°C with a non Android OS.

Speak to the supplier of your box to get something quotable, but as a personal note (not a DroidBOX statement), the 131°F / 55°C would not worry me if it were my device.
