Hi
Please forgive me if I am asking a stupid question.
I tried to install BBC Iplayer on my box, from the play store.
It tells me its not compatible with my device.
I have the latest version installed, and working, on my android phone.

I located an earlier version from "uptodown" and it installed ok on the box.
When I open it, it tells me to update it!!
If I say yes, it takes me back to the Play store and, of course, it wont update.

I then turned off the auto update setting, thinking this would work, but alas, no

Any ideas how I can get this version to work, or how I can get a version that does work?
Many thanks in advance for your help

Rob

Your box has likely not been certified by the app developers as suitable for their app.
This seems to be happening a lot.
Does the web version work

Hi
Thanks for the response.
No, it doesnt work through Google.
I can sign in to my account, I see all the titles.
I select something and it goes straight to the update page.
I can sometimes get past this page and then the title will start to load.
After about a minute, I get a message telling me that the program is not available, please try later.

I have just tried on a Windows computer and it connects perfectly

Thanks
Rob

I downloaded it to my box via the "Aptoid" app as I don't live in the UK and was unable to do it through the play store.
