Is it iPlayer (be it TV or Radio content you're after), or just the BBC Media Player application itself you're after?
If you're unable to grab the APK file via the Play Store app, I use http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ to bypass country or device restrictions.
If you're having problems with watching iPlayer content in Spain, and don't yet have a proxy/DNS/VPN solution in place, check this thread - Not in the UK, but want to watch TV from home?
