When using composite video (and analogue audio) output, (the yellow round plug output), all seems to work find. But when OpenELEC or KODI are started the display goes black, and indications from the display device suggest that the box has stopped outputting any signal. (For Kodi some times sounds can still be heard if text narration is on, so I guess it has loaded KODI).

Also after switching to OpenELEC the box will not start up correctly when it is restarted and enters a black screen. Only way is to enter the recovery menu using the Reset Button to ask it to load Android.

(HDMI works fine. But I need output via Composite Video)

RCA should work on android - see this.

https://droidbox.co.uk/how-to/using-dvi-phono-rca-or-scart-instead-of-hdmi/

You may have to tinker with resolutions in kodi video output settings

https://kodi.wiki/view/Settings/System_v16

Certainly you will not get hd or near hd output (1080 or 720).

As far as I know, RCA output is not supported by openelec.

Composite Video (RCA) does work on Android (like I said). Just not when entering KODI and OpenELEC.

I cannot make any adjuetments to KODI's video outputs as I am only using Composite Video (RCA), so cannot even enter KODI due to the problem (will if/when I use HDMI)
