Hi,

I updated my Droidbox per OTA and I have the following issue:
I get now the red cross with the error <... Failed to download subtitle> from Opensubtitles.org
All was working fine before this update.

DroidBox
Build DBMC 16-3-0 Git:Unknown
Compiled: July 29 2016

BUT
with the KODI under LibreElec, the download is working perfectly!!!
Build Kodi 16.1 Git:c327c53
Compiled: Oct 6 2016

Any idea about this issue?
Regards

Can you wipe DBMC's data and reinstall your preferred add-ons please? If you're using Wookie and want to stick with DBMC in Android (rather than Kodi), click on Community Builds, scroll down past the Seans 15.2 Build and select the normal Seans Build.

If you still get the same problem, post back and we'll get this sorted out.

To wipe DBMC's data (if you have a T8-S) then head to Settings from the homescreen (one or two cogs). Click the "Other" tab, then select the More Settings button. Scroll down to Apps and click it. Now find DroidBOX Media Centre/DBMC and open it. Click Force Stop and confirm, if it isn't greyed out. Now click the Clear Data button and confirm. Next time you open DBMC, it will be starting from scratch.

Hi,

Thanks for the tip. I stopped the App DBMC and tried the Kodi App instead. It was working fine for the download of the subtitles. I re-installed also the App DBMC and also the downloading of the subtitles is working fine.
