Good controller for retro games

Hi,

Have any of you guys used any particular controller for retro games, mainly snes/N64?

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

The retrolink n64 controller USB adapter gets a few mentions online, if you wanted authenticity playing N64 titles. Not tried on any devices myself.
Moving to the Other Controller section, hopefully get a bit more views there.
Will leave to others to recommend actual controllers, rather than an adapter and original console controller!
