Hi, I've got a GPD Win2, I started playing a game I bought called Powerwash Simulator and it's overheating. I was only playing for about half an hour and it was hot to the touch. The game isn't really that graphic heavy.

Have you got any tips as how to I prevent it from overheating?

I'm not sure if the WIN 2 has this option (I know the WIN 3 does), but it might be worth checking the BIOS to see if there's a way to change the TDP.

The WIN models in general will be hot to the touch when under use though because of the minimized size means that the internals are closer to the hand.

Hi Ben,

The bios is locked. Everything is greyed out.

Are the fans restricted at all when you play?

If the device isn't crashing then there's no cause for alarm really. The Win 2 naturally runs very hot when gaming however, even if it's not high-end titles.
