HDMI only working on 576 (poorly)

I've been trying to get my X7 to work, I can get the AV out to send a really grainy signal to my TV however if I try to switch to HDMI again, the picture is incredibly grainy and only works at 576i! PLEASE HELP I'm at the end of my teather with this.

1) Try a different TV
2) Head to Android's Settings, look for display/screen related entries. Let us know the settings there, we'll see if we can assist.
