Ps. I said in an earlier post that your t8 v2 has 32gb of storage, my mistake as thats the t8 v3, your box only has 8gb.

Hopefully the box was just full of junk apps and unable to play anything because it had run out of storage, you could do with deleting any apps you will never use, android settings/apps to give you some space as only 8gb is not much.

You will need to put different firmware as you said 2 updates are available but the rom developer does not support updates.

Laptop yes. Sd card possibly. Almost 2am here so chances of locating now slim to none
