How to update LibreELEC and Kodi?

Hi,


I'm using the T8-mini box with LibreELEC 7.0.2 and Kodi 16.1. How do I update to the latest LibreELEC and Kodi? Quite confused about it.

You already have the latest Librelec. for your machine.
You can get Kodi 17 from either Kodi.tv or Google play store.

You wait for an ota update from Droidbox. There may be one soon as the latest version of Librelec (8.n) is tested out.

I have a T8 Mini droidbox it has Ipvanish app aready installed just ready to set up, if i register with them and log into Ipvanish then switch to Kodi via Librelec will i still be connected to the vpn,
Also which server is the best to use and how do i choose,

No, you wouldn't be connected still, as LibreELEC is a different operating system. When you reboot and start LibreELEC, all Android applications will stop.
