I"ve always used my IMDb account watchlist on various addons "covernant","rebirth","neptune rising"etc: but I can no longer get my watchlist to open for either movies or tv shows the addons still work fine for the other sections,anyone have an idea or perhaps access is just being blocked?

I have the same problems as well. I have tried several things such as without my VPN active, deleting the id exiting Kodi then reatarting and re-entering the id all to no avail. Same in all addons which have IMDB integration. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'd strongly consider setting your profile to private once the account is set up though
You don't *have* to install the Trakt add-on - http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Trakt - in Kodi, but do make sure you set up/activate in your preferred add-on's configuration area.
