Once again, the same procedure as used with an iMX6 that has the Android firmware installed can be used:

Remove the power lead from your iMX6, and insert a matchstick/toothpick into the A/V port on the back of your device.

You should be able to feel initial resistance, and then a button being depressed. Keep your stick/pick in place.
Reconnect the lead and power up your DroidBox device.

Once the recovery menu appears, you can remove the match/cocktail stick.

Using your remote control, highlight the Wipe Cache option and select it (using the RETURN (go back) key). Confirm your selection and once the process completes, remove the power lead and reinsert it.
Hopefully when you turn the DroidBOX on this time, it will complete booting up properly.

If not, please return to the Recovery Menu via the procedure described above, and this time select the Wipe Data/Factory Reset option, and confirm your selection.

Assuming your device does reboot, please run the DroidBOX Wizard add-on in XBMC.

If however you are still not able to boot up, please try using this recovery procedure.
