Hi there, I have been having problems with my box. So I reset it via the toothpick in the av slot. Then it was freezing when the amlinux set up was starting. So I emailed droidbox and the guy said to follow the video on the YouTube channel. So I put the recovery file on sd card insert it then do the toothpick procedure. Done that, wiped cache, wiped data/ factory reset. Left for 20minutes then clicked reboot system now. Nothing happen except it opens up the recovery screen again?am I doing the procedure wrong? When do I remove the sd card?
Any help would be appreciated

Well I downloaded the recovery from the drop box, put it on sd card. Then put that in the slot, toothpick in the av port to click the button and then plugged in power. Up came the recovery page. I then cleared cache and cleared data/ factory reset. I then left for 20mins and came back and clicked on reboot . Screen went black then up popped the recovery page once again.

Hi if you put the firmware files on the sd card you should have 3 files. Unplug the power lead and put the SD Card in the box. Place a thin matchstick in the AV Slot on the back in the box and whilst holding the button in insert the power cable. You should see an android logo and a status bar. Let this run through and reboot and the box should load up. It has worked everytime i have done it. The AM Linux screen should appear and just follow the set up.

Im Motherboard by the way from the previous forum.

@tonyd Please see jigger's post, above your own, for the the procedure. That said, you may be fine with just going through a factory reset. See https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/how-to-access-your-droidboxs-recovery-menu/ for details on accessing the Recovery Menu. If you have an iMX6 (compare it to the pictures here - https://droidbox.co.uk/choose-your-droidbox.html ) then once the Recovery Menu appears, highlight the Wipe data/factory reset option, and press the Go Back/Return button on your remote control to select it. Then confirm you're certain.
Once the process completes, reboot, complete any set up screens presented, selected which launcher you want to use, then wait 20 minutes (so the apps can re-install). Now open XBMC and run the DroidBOX Wizard - https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/droidbox-wizard-update-october-2014-2/ and enable auto-updates in Google's Play Store - https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/googles-play-store-signing-in-and-auto-updates/
