Kodi+DBMC

Hi,I have just got a DroidBox iMXQ pro v1,can anyone tell me the difference between kodi,and DBMC?is one any better than the other?please be patient with me Iam getting on in years ansd I have a muscle wasting disease called Motor Neuron Disease and I can only use one finger to type.

Hi.
Think of Kodi as a base which works across all operating systems.
A clever person thought that it could be optimised for android machines.
He created a version (the technical term is a "fork") specifically for android boxes called SPMC.
Droidbox have taken SPMC and tweaked it a bit more . It is called Droidbox Media Centre - DBMC.
You can run DBMC and Kodi (and SPMC) on the same box. The only limitation is space.
Personally I find DBMC very good and run my set up on it.
