had my new box a week or so and all has been well.

couldn't open kodi which I traced to a memory/storage issue and deleted the old temp files (via file manager) to free up the space. I've now got 2gb + of space but kodi still won't load - it just black screens each time.

what am I doing wrong?

Ok, try this go to setting in the boot up menu in android now go to other and then more setting. Go to apps and scroll down to Kodi, go in and force stop and then clear cache.
Now go back and try and good luck.

Star man - that seems to have worked a treat.

Any idea how to stop kodi's temp files filling the box up again?

Thanks

Clear cache offen and just keep an eye on it. Not sure if it will work on your box, but press the menu button on your remote and keep it pressed and a rocket should come up and clear memory. If this happens again at leased you'll no what to do.
