Latest IMX6/XBMC version

Hi

I have recently had excellent help from tech support to get my box back to life.

The IMX6 box is up and running now with xbmc version 12.2

Is there a way to upgrade to the latest version of xbmc or am I on the latest version for this model.

(It's just to make sure I'm on the latest version)

Yes, there's Frodo 12.3 but as you no Frodo works well for the imx6. Some repos and add-ons now say that they are incompatible but there are still loads to use. If you have the android box you can go to the playstore and install SPMC witch is a better version for this box. Latest as you no when you upgrade these boxes you can run into problems so if yours is working and your happy leave it until it rely needs it, and as you said it looks like you've only just got it back. If you want to look at upgradeing to SPMC witch is a Gotham build of xbmc there some info on this forum. Good luck

Keep the build you have, if one day an add-on you use no longer works with Frodi/Flump builds of XBMC, we'll get you onto a newer build.
